Back To The Drawing Board

I'm spending too much time on the computer and not enough at the drawing board. This journal has taken a couple of hours each day for me to write and post, except on those days when I got my wife to type it for me. To quote Peter Gabriel "I talk in pictures not in words" or at least in a combination of the two. So, with this in mind I am going to begin to draw my entries rather than write them. This is not the web comic I've written about in my journal. I'm still waiting for a password before I can post any artwork on their web site. But in the meantime, I'll start posting new comics here. They won't necessarily be as refined as the work I intend to put on my web page someday soon. These comics will be more like a page from my sketchbook or, to use a musical analogy, just a demo not a studio recording. I'm going to be drawing with a regular #2 pencil instead of the non-photo blue I usually use. I plan to use a ball point pen and a magic marker as well, not a Crow Quill dipped in Indian ink. I want these cartoons to retain the urgency of my original drawings and I sometimes lose that trying to be too precise when inking my other comics. I intend for my new comic to be autobiographical but also to include some fiction and a little fantasy. My plan is to row my boat gently down a stream of consciousness and to allow the electric current to guide me on the way. My thanks to those of you who have taken the time to read what I have already written and I hope that you will stick around. Tomorrow, I'll introduce you to Natty Dreadlocks and The Bear.

Rowing the boat gently down a stream of consciousness and allowing the electric current to guide you on the way? Sounds like you are aware of the law of attraction!!!!!!!!!! Keep on expressing your intent and things will happen exactly as you want them to!
