Fade To Black

When I started to draw "Natty Dreadlocks and The Bear" I was still waiting to get my password to Web Comics Nation and anxious to start posting a comic on-line. I started drawing a comic journal because I thought it would take less time than writing a blog. However, it's taken more time to do the daily comic than writing my blog ever did. Also, over the past few weeks I have begun to feel like I'm painting myself into a corner and confined by the daily comic's continuity. I also want to complete "Warlock Hotel," "Art and Life," as well as work on new projects I have in the works like my western, "Outrider: Walk In Beauty." So, for the time being at least, I am putting an end to the "Natty Dreadlocks and The Bear." I want to thank everyone that supported the strip over the past 150 days. I couldn't have have done it without you and I hope you will all keep reading as I will continue to post "Zinc Comics" both here and each Sunday at

http://www.webcomicsnation.com/zinccomics/

"Natty Dread..." is archived there as well.

It was a good run while it lasted. I'm looking forward to seeing your other stuff on here :-)

Thanks! It looks like your long run on "Leave It To Jesus" is safe from ever being overtaken by me at least.

It's going to be my own version of your "Prior Offenses" for the time being. Drawing that Post Apocalypse Self-Image was so much fun and drawing "Natty Dread..." was starting to feel like well...a Bear. So, now I'll have "Fun, Fun, Fun" till someone takes my T-square away.

Oh ... it really was "the end".

Okay. Well .. you already know what I think of the comic, so you do not get a reflecting back kind of post. Just make sure you keep busy. Remember that it takes 22 days to form a habit, even a bad one, so keep on drawing comics everyday! Make sure to keep us updated on progress.

Yeah, I've cried "wolf" so many times that I don't think anyone was sure if the "Wolf" was actually at the door or not. I will be working on new stuff but what I'll be posting here will amount to summer reruns for the time being.
